Cindy Wise

Cindy loves introducing children to the wonderful world of  Sculpture. Paper Line Sculptures are fun to create. From
simple to complex, this project never gets old.
Cindy Wise has been teaching art to children for close to three decades. She retired from the Dare County Schools where she taught Elementary Art for 28 years. Following retirement, Cindy founded Island Art Gal in 2021 as a way to continue her beloved kid/art connection!
Much to her surprise, Cindy found herself back in the classroom in August 2022! She teaches art 1 day a week at a small Christian school.
She was born on an island in East Asia courtesy of the USAF and currently lives, plays and creates on the Barrier Islands of the Outer Banks of NC. Hence, the name Island Art Gal!
