Meet the instructor

Cindy Wise

Cindy loves the beauty and simplicity of the Winter Wonderland Printmaking project. Originally designed for her 2nd graders, the project is fun and suitable for all ages. The printmaking technique works on both small and large paper.
Cindy Wise has been teaching art to children for close to three decades. She is retired from the Dare County Schools where she taught Elementary Art for 28 years. Missing the kid/art connection, Cindy founded Island Art Gal in 2021. The name comes from her island connections. She was born on an island in East Asia courtesy of the USAF. She currently lives, plays and creates on the Barrier Islands of the Outer Banks of NC.
