Meet the instructor
Cindy Wise
Cindy loves introducing children to Sculpture creation and the problem solving that ensues as the sculptures try to defy gravity.
Pocket Sculpture projects are fun because each one is unique!
It's wonderful to see how many ways the student artist reassembles his/her sculpture.
Cindy Wise has been teaching art to children for close to three decades. She recently retired from the Dare County Schools where she taught Elementary Art for 28 years.

Missing the kid/art connection, Cindy founded Island Art Gal in 2021. The name comes from her island connections.
She was born on an island in East Asia courtesy of the USAF. She currently lives, plays and creates on the Barrier Islands of the Outer Banks of NC.
